Art with its continuous expansion or acceptance of new forms is constantly repositioning the limits of its language; society regards multiplicity as a problem and therefore comes out more as a rigid defender of its own forms than a renewer. There are items in the programme that deal with accepted forms like cinema, video and painting but we also included items that the artworld find controversial; and that because they have always been called – and fairly – craftworks. The Stichting Gaidaro, with big admiration for the things that people make, imagine and construct will try to include from now on projects that manifest this craftsmanship but always place it within the context and the qualities of an art work. This season the honoured craftwork will be the embroidery, a visual language coming from tradition and moreover a female legacy.

2. dreamscape Video compiled by fragments of 7 seconds videos made by different artists. The subconscious language of humans expressed on images and assembled in a collaborative dream.
3. mama’s arts 15 November to 14 December 2008 / Exhibition of artworks made with textile techniques like embroidering, sewing, weaving, knitting or any technique that involves handwork. A catalogue will accompany the exhibition.

6. the hanging gardens A project about gardens and gardening on the edge of extinction or on the threshold of creation (utopias more welcome) in a physical or metaphorical way. All visual languages will play a role in this project. There will also be an active wiki database
